The 4 car setup allows on average anywhere from 80-100 racers per hour, and the 6 car setup allows on average anywhere from 120 -140 racers per hour. It is the client’s responsibility to provide dry operating space. For outside events we must set up under a tent. We cannot setup or operate in any form of precipitation, or threat of precipitation. The minimum size tent for wet weather operation is 30′ x 30′, certain track layouts may require larger sizes. Complete set-up of the track usually takes two hours to complete, so please plan to have us arrive three hours prior to the beginning of the event. Track tear-down can usually be accomplished in one hour. If we are to provide our own tent, please add an additional hour to setup and tear-down times.
Do we need to help you setup the track or run the races?
No. FinishLine Speedway handles all aspects of setting up the track, running the races, and tearing down the track after the event.
What are the space requirements?
Absolute minimum of 20′ x 25′ (limited track layouts). 25′ x 30′ is the preferred space. The track can be easily carted into most any facility. If we are to provide our inflatable tent, a 36′ x 36′ space is required.
What are the electrical requirements?
Inside or outside, one standard 110 volt 20 amp wall plug is all that is needed (the cars run off batteries). With notice, and understanding the noise a generator makes, we can supply our own power. If we are to provide our inflatable tent, an additional 20 amp circuit is required.
Are there discounts available?
Yes. There is special pricing available when contracting us for multiple dates. We also offer discounted rates to charitable organizations. Please contact us for more details.
What are the payment terms?
A 50% deposit is required with returned contract to secure your date, with the balance due on the day of the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
The client should understand that a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price will be charged by FinishLine Speedway if the event is cancelled within six weeks of the event date. 100% payment is expected if FinishLine Speedway appears on the event date and the event is cancelled. Cancellations include weather.
Can we customize the track?
Absolutely. Our goal is to be your speedway. We encourage our clients to work with us on decorating the track if advertising/brand awareness is important. Custom car bodies can also be designed to give you further exposure on the track. After the event, the car body is yours to keep. Please contact us for pricing information. We wear race themed shirts and black pants at the shows, but are happy to dress in client provided shirts if so desired.
Do you have a tournament system available?
Yes. We do have a points system set up for clients who are interested in hosting multi-date tournaments. We also do single event tournaments with practice, qualifying and finals. Trophies are available.
How far do you travel?
As the slogan says…”You name the place, we’ll bring the race!” We will operate anywhere in the country.
